Reflections on Proto-Portfolios

I have to write more than ten thousand words in this spring semester. Also, I have to finish writing fifteen book reviews. It was hard homework for me, but it was a good chance to practice to write many sentences in English.

1.0. 1st Semester Portfolio

I wrote 10043 words in this spring semester, and I wrote fifteen book reviews. In order to finish writing more than ten thousand words, I updated "typing homework" on my blog. I wrote diary on this blog, too.

1.1. Essay Showcase

Best Essay

My favorite essay is "University Life". I could wrote easily the essay, also I could write many words. I wrote about the topic sometimes ever before, so I could write it freely. I'm second semester in this university, so I know about this university than last year.

Overall Essay Developments

It is not good to write as many as sentences I can. I should tell you the contents of the essay easily. If I write the essay longly, it is hard for you to read it. Therefore, I wrote the essays which you can read easily. If you can't read the essays easily, I'm sorry. To write essays is hard for me at the first time, but I'm able to write some sentences soon.

1.2. Book Review Showcase

Best Book Review

My best book review is "Energy". The book has little long sentences, and pictures of detail. Therefore it was easy to read about the book. Also, I thought I could explain about the book. I could enjoy write about it, so the number of the words in the book review is the biggest of all book reviews.

Overall Book Review Developments

I felt it is hard for me to write book reviews, and I worried about this semester's credit. However, I could write the book reviews more easily from fifth book review. Also, I thought I could read books in English faster.

2.0. 2nd Semester Portfolio

[We have to write six essays in this semester. The topics are about history of our studying, our favorite places, and learning with computers. If you see my essays, please search a label, "essays".]

Best Essay

[My favorite essay is "My Grandmother's House". I enjoyed writing this essay. I could write a longest essay. I think I could explain about my grandmother's house. Also, I noticed new good points of her house.

Overall Essay Developments

[I think it is important for us to try to write more sentences, and enjoy write on our blog. Not only write many sentences, we have to write sentences people can understand easily. I tried to write more sentences than a previous essay. Last year, I couldn't write many sentences. In this semester, I enjoyed writing.

2.2. Book Review Showcase

Best Book Review

My favorite book review is "Cats". I enjoyed reading the book, also I could learn  many things about cats in the book. Pictures in this book are very cute, so I read this book about three times. You can know about cats if you read this book.

Overall Book Review Developments

[I think I should introduce books easily and simply. Not only write about outline, I have to write what people can feel with the books. At first time, it was difficult for me to write book reviews. However, I can write book reviews easily recently.

2.3. Additional Highlights and Reflections

[Not only write so long, I have to write easily to be read by reader easily. Sometimes, I couldn't express sentences I want to write. I tried to write other expression. It is important to tell the contents with right sentences, but I think it is important to tell readers the content somehow. I can write English sentences without thinking Japanese sentences in my head.]
